Chapter 22
When the two reached outside, Troy let go of Nema's arm. "Didn't I tell you we hailed from a family of vendors, you remember?" he asked.
"Yes, you said earlier. How is it connected to the game you're saying?" Nema asked wondering.
"It's like this. Dad always told me how it was to be a vendor. How it felt when you haven't sold a thing or nobody bought anything from your merchandise. You hadn't sold anything, worst all your merchandise gets confiscated for violating something you didn't understand much. Dad said no matter how big you are, you'd cry in anger, in rage," he narrated long.
"Really, some vendors are so pitiful and miserable then. What's that has to do with the game you said you wanted to play huh?" wondering, she asked Troy.
"This is how it works, we'll walk and whatever or whoever vendor that we met, we'll buy from him. And then we'll walk again and if we met another vendor we'll buy again. Whatever he is selling, may it be clothes, food, toys we're buying just the same. Are you up for it Nema, will you walk with me huh Nema?" he asked.
